We want to welcome you to the 2017-2018 school term! As the school year gets underway, we look forward to the great engaging instruction our teachers have planned for their students this term.
To our students, we hope you have a great school year. We encourage you to do your best every day and make the most of the many opportunities available to you at Swainsboro High School. Thank you for your hard work in and out of the classroom.
To our parents, thank you for your involvement in your child’s education and with our school. It takes everyone working together to keep Swainsboro High School energized and successful. We encourage you to say engaged. Your support makes the difference between a good and great school!
To our dedicated staff, your commitment to our students is amazing. Thanking you for helping to educate our future. Teachers, we thank you for giving of yourselves over the summer and beyond the school day for professional collaboration. These significant efforts ensure we are prepared for our students all through the year.
The extra-curricular and co-curricular experiences of our athletes, club members and program participants enhance our students’ capabilities and their college and career preparedness. We thank our club and program sponsors and coaches for making these experiences possible. We wish all of you continued success this year.
This term I enter into my sixth term as principal. Assistant Principal Rusty Kea and I have had the privilege of serving together as SHS administrators for five consecutive years and we are extremely excited to have Assistant Principal Brandon Andrews join our team. If we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
