Hello. My name is Sharon Edenfield. I love teaching children with special needs. I feel that all students can learn, they just learn at different rates and in different ways. I joined the field of education later than most teachers. I was 35 years old when I began this wonderful career and have been teaching special education since 1992. This year is my 27th year of teaching! I earned my BS and M.Ed. degrees from Georgia Southern University and my Ed.S degree from NOVA Southeastern University.
I am married to Cleve Edenfield and have two children, Krissy and Kyle. I also have a daughter-in-law, Jessica, and four handsome grandsons, Caleb, Eli, Levi, and Isaiah. Our first granddaughter, Selah Grace, joined our family in March, 2018.
I attend the First United Methodist Church, in which I am a member of the Praise Band for the early service. I have many hobbies that I am interested in. In addition, to God and my family, I enjoy crafts of all kinds. Some special crafts that I have had the opportunity to enjoy include making gifts with my Silhouette, woodworking, and making jewelry.
