The Georgia Parent Survey contains 24 questions. Parents may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. For parents who do not have access to the Internet, the media center will be open Monday - Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. for parents to complete the Georgia Parent Survey.  Parents will also have the opportunity to complete it at our next PTO  Meeting on Jan. 22 at 6:00 p.m. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey.  The survey is open until March 1, 2019. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.

At SES, we like to keep our parents informed! This is just a reminder that Honor Roll/Star Honor roll were changed this year. The change is noted below, but also can be found on page 31 of the handbook.

Students that have a grade of A in subject for the nine-weeks grading period will be awarded Star Honor Roll. To be included on Honor Roll for the nine- weeks grading period a student’s grades must average to a 90 or above AND the student can have no grade lower than an 80 for that grading period in any subject. When averaging grades for the nine-weeks or for yearly honor roll the average will not be rounded up.
