SPS is a great place to be! Swainsboro Primary is filled with enthusiastic professional educators who are dedicated to providing the greatest opportunity for each student to experience success. Students consistently put forth their best effort to meet and exceed expectations. Parental involvement is strong; our parents are always willing to lend their support to both students and teachers. Our PTO plays an active viable role by taking on initiatives designed to enhance student learning. The community of Swainsboro always extends unwavering support for not just SPS, but for all of our schools in Emanuel County.
As always, SPS is focusing on literacy skills. We are encouraging parents to set aside 15 minutes daily to read with your child. You may increase your child’s reading fluency by having your child read and reread familiar books. We ask parents to continuously check the daily communication folders and sign it daily to let us know that you are seeing it. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your child's teacher at 478-237-8302.
I anticipate continued success, as the staff and I work together in doing “Whatever It Takes” to support the personal, intellectual, and social growth of Every Child, Every Day. As principal, my door is always open. Communication is paramount in the success of Swainsboro Primary School. Through a close and shared partnership, I am confident that our school will continue to be a successful place for our students to learn and grow.
Thank you for sharing your child with us!
