We welcome new students to the Emanuel County School System! The Central Registration process will allow us the opportunity to better inform and serve new students and their families as they begin their educational journey in our schools.

K-12 students entering our school system for the first time must register at the
Central Registration Office
(located in the Board of Education)
201 N. Main Street
Swainsboro, GA 30401
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Appointments are encouraged, and may be scheduled by calling 478-237-6674.
Walk-ins will be seen as time becomes available between scheduled appointments.
Please note: Pre-K registration will begin February 1, 2013.
In order to attend an Emanuel County school, all new K-12 grade students and their families must complete the two-step Central Registration process described below. Links to required registration forms and additional information are also provided. We encourage you to complete these forms on-line, print each form, and bring the completed forms to your appointment.
Step 1- Registration:
Parents/guardians must visit the Central Registration Office and bring all required documentation at the time of your registration appointment. The family will complete all required forms and documentation, and will register all of their school-aged children during this one visit. Students are not required to be present during the registration appointment.

We encourage you to print and complete these documents prior to your arrival. If you are unable to do so, copies will be provided for you to complete during your appointment. 1. Birth Certificate (Certified)
2. State Required Immunization - Georgia Form 3231
3. State Required Ear, Eye and Dental Form - Georgia Form 3300
4. Copy of Social Security Card - Waiver, if objection
5. Parent/Guardian Photo ID
6. Custody Paper (Guardianship Paperwork or Divorce Decree)
7. Latest Report Card or Withdrawal Form
Step 2 - School Enrollment and Visitation:
After registering at the Central Registration Office, parents/guardians and students will visit the assigned school to enroll and obtain class assignments, schedules, and other information unique to the assigned schoo!. The family will receive an unopened packet containing all completed forms for school enrollment.
