Spanish I: Find announcements that pertain to upcoming projects, tests, or quizzes, as well as a weekly overview of what we will be covering in the class.

  • Week of October 16

    This week, as we contiue to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, students will be working on their autobiography research project about a famous Hispanic or Hispanic American of their choice. Students will be researching about this person and then writing a two page autobiography as if they were the person they chose to research, telling his/her story. Students will also be learning about the famous Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla Perez and her influence in the Tejano music scene of the early 1990s.

  • Week of October 9

    This week students are learning about the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month that takes place from September 15 to October 15. Students will be able to understand the influence that Hispanic Americans have had on the U.S. and will be able to recognize some famous Hispanics or Hispanic Americans and their contribution to our society and the world.
