Teaching & Learning

STEFANIE MASON

Executive Director of Teaching and Learning

The Emanuel County School System is committed to the success of its students and the professional learning of its faculty and staff.  We offer a challenging curriculum for students in grades Pre-K through 12.  Based on the Georgia Standards of Excellence, the curriculum builds on the basic concepts of English, mathematics, social studies, and science.  We also provide instruction in the areas of art, music, foreign language, technology, and physical education.  Additionally, school counseling, social work, and psychological services are available to address students’ emotional and physical needs.

Emanuel County Schools provide a variety of special programs that help all students succeed.  A comprehensive special education program for students ages 3-21 provides instruction for students with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.  An enriching gifted education program challenges students with advanced content and diverse learning opportunities.

Our goal is to ensure that students graduate with the ability to be contributing members of society.  Through structured, varied learning experiences, the Emanuel County School System works to meet this goal each day.
