The mission of EDGE College and Career Academy is to Educate, Grow, and Develop Emanuel County’s workforce by providing post-secondary opportunities for high school students to prepare them for employment in high demand fields.

EDGE College and Career Academy envisions a future where every student graduates with the skills, confidence, and connections needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving economy.

The Emanuel County College & Career Academy (CCA) is a partnership between Emanuel County Schools and Southeastern Technical College (STC) designed to provide high school students with real-world career training, industry certifications, and dual enrollment opportunities to prepare them for college, careers, and the workforce.

How Will Scheduling Work?

  • Students will be bused from Swainsboro High School (SHS) and Emanuel County Institute (ECI)
  • Morning & afternoon sessions available (two classes per session)
  • Lunch logistics will be coordinated for students attending CCA

Who Can Attend?

  • High school students from Swainsboro High School and Emanuel County Institute
  • Priority given to students in CTAE (Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education) pathways
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for dual enrollment (for college-credit courses)
